Twenty pupils from the 13s, 15s and Sixth Form were invited by Damien Hirst (father to Cassius in 13B and Cyrus in 8M) to visit his studios.
Mrs Maryam Eisler, art collector, patron of the arts and mother to Ariana in 12BE, kindly arranged for her daughter’s class to have a private and bespoke tour of Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs at Tate Modern.
The Art and Design department were pleased to offer A level and GCSE students, a clay figurative workshop with a guest Artist, Jessica Wetherly. Students draw and sculpted two loving labradors for the day.
This term Reza Beyad and Dr Parmley organised an exhibition of artwork for the Kids Company Competition at the Halcyon Gallery in Mayfair.
The Sixth Form and GCSE art, photography and graphic design displayed at the annual Summer Art Exhibition was of a very high standard and many works were highly acclaimed by distinguished visitors.
