The Harrodian Physical Education department wholeheartedly subscribes to the school ethos that every child matters. We pride ourselves on an inclusive environment, which gives all students the opportunity to experience a range of sporting activities in a positive yet challenging setting. The curriculum is diverse to allow all students to find an activity in which they can gain confidence through success. This includes PE and Games as enrichment opportunities, coupled with a strong representative program of competitive fixtures.

The curriculum is bespoke to each section of the school. Pre Prep (Reception-PP3), Prep (8s-12s) and Senior (13s-U6th) have a range of activities tailored to their age groups and modified within the different year groups of these sections.

These activities include Gymnastics, Health Related Fitness, Dance, Aerobics, Basketball, Handball, Football, Netball, Rugby, Hockey, Swimming, Athletics, Tennis, and Rounders. Each of these activities has components of skill acquisition, selecting and applying the appropriate techniques, game understanding, and the ability to evaluate and improve performance.

Extra Curricular Activities
The school also has an extensive extra curricular program. This is run in the form of lunchtime and after school clubs to allow a greater breadth of activity and augmented participation time. All the sports above have training clubs available to both development and representative students.

Other activities include Ballet, Karate, Fencing, Rowing, Outdoor Adventure, Personal training, Gymnastics, Golf, and Squash.
There are tournaments run each term for the main sports for all pupils wishing to participate.
