The Harrodian is easily accessible by a variety of means of transport. Lonsdale Road follows the south side of the Thames between Hammersmith and Barnes Bridge

By car: parking is available in the School grounds. Turn left through the gate into the car park. Please exercise great care.

By bus: several buses come from Hammersmith and Mortlake during the day, past the school or close by. These are the 419 and 209. The 33, 72 and 283 also cross Hammersmith Bridge.

In the morning the 609 comes from Hammersmith Bus Station and stops outside the school. In the afternoon a return service to Hammersmith is available.

The 609 buses departs from Hammersmith at 07:52, 08:04, 08:12 and 08:20am in the morning. The afternoon buses leave Harrodian at 4:20pm and 4:50pm.

By underground: to Hammersmith and then bus as above.

By train: to Barnes or Barnes Bridge stations, then bus or walk.

On foot: walking from Hammersmith, Barnes Station or Barnes Bridge Station takes between 15 and 20 minutes.

By bicycle: cycle racks are available and all users are advised to use locks. It should be noted that the School can take no responsibility for loss or damage.

In December our Pre-Prep staff ran the Santa race at Richmond Park and raised £1,750 in aid of the Princess Alice Hospice. Our 14s and 15s pupils also thought about how they could make it a warmer winter for others, as they bought and wrapped presents for women and children at Sutton Women’s Centre.  Read more...

Harrodian’s third annual Film Festival showcased films that were created, produced and directed entirely by pupils in the 13s and above. A total of ten films were shortlisted and shown on a cinema screen in the Theatre in front of an expert judging panel. Read More...
