With detailed accounts of the First World War, as experienced by ancestors of Harrodian families, the first volume of this special commemorative book makes compelling reading. Narratives from the book will be used as an educational tool in class, but we also encourage families to read the book together in order to keep the tradition of remembrance alive. Finally, the book should be of interest to families who wish to contribute to a second volume, which will be compiled and edited over the next two years.
Copies of Harrodian Remembers will be on sale at Reception, outside the café, and in the Pre-Prep courtyard on Remembrance Day and for the rest of the week (Monday 9 – Friday 13 November). It can be purchased for £15.00 and all profits will go to the Poppy Appeal.
If you would like to pre-order a copy in advance of this date then please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for working with us to help support this good cause and keep the memory of the First World War alive for generations to come.
