The annual Christmas Fair raised in excess of £10,000 for 3 chosen charities: Kids Company, SA-YES, and Family Friends. Once again the event proved to be a favourite with over 1,000 people in attendance. The HSPA and Events Committee organised the event with help from the 15s Prefects and school sponsor, Winkworth in Barnes.

In the autumn term the Harrodian hosted a Student Leadership Conference.  The Senior School leaders, which included the 15s Prefects and U6th Senior Prefects and the Student Council Representatives, participated in a full-day training course

A Gala Dinner, in aid of the Kids Company, was held on Thursday 13 September in the Egyptian Hall at Mansion House.  The winners of the Kids Company Art competition were announced and presented with their prizes. The evening was hosted by Mr Reza Beyad, Chair of the HSPA, and Dr Parmley, and was well-attended by parents, staff, pupils and some well-known celebrities.

The Upper Sixth students finishing school this summer attended the Leavers’ Ball. The evening opened with a drinks reception for parents, staff and students.

This annual event was once again a huge success. The Parents’ Association organised a very popular day which raised £4000 for Kids Company. Camilla Batmanghelidjh, who founded the charity, made a guest appearance and drew the first raffle ticket.
