The 13s were split into teams and apportioned a budget of ten pounds per person. The groups used their capital to buy stock such as popcorn, cookies and water balloons.

To support their RE studies, the 8s and 9s acted out a Hindu wedding. The ceremony took place in beautifully decorated gazebos on the school grounds. A henna artist painted all the girls' hands and parents applied moustaches to the boys. 

The 10s took part in a two-day workshop at school arranged by Bizworld, a non-profit organisation founded to inspire entrepreneurship in children through teaching. 

To celebrate the forthcoming Olympic Games, Mrs O’Neill and Miss Roper organised a special day of events for the 8s. Pupils and staff arrived in school dressed as ancient Greeks with tunics, sandals and other such attire.

On the Friday before the Jubilee weekend, the whole school celebrated 60 years of the Queen’s reign.

In December our Pre-Prep staff ran the Santa race at Richmond Park and raised £1,750 in aid of the Princess Alice Hospice. Our 14s and 15s pupils also thought about how they could make it a warmer winter for others, as they bought and wrapped presents for women and children at Sutton Women’s Centre.  Read more...

Harrodian’s third annual Film Festival showcased films that were created, produced and directed entirely by pupils in the 13s and above. A total of ten films were shortlisted and shown on a cinema screen in the Theatre in front of an expert judging panel. Read More...
