St Paul’s Church, Hammersmith, was again full to the brim with pupils, parents and staff attending our popular annual Harrodian Carol Concerts, an opportunity for all Harrodians to celebrate the festive season through the medium of song.

Traditional carols, accompanied by Dr Parmley, Principal of the Senior School, on the organ, below, were interspersed with readings both sacred and secular. Each choir had a chance to shine and their contributions included: ‘Infant Carol’ by the Pre-Prep Choir, ‘Coventry Carol’ by the Sixteen Chamber Choir, ‘Gabriel’s Message’ by the Boy’s Choir and Cadets, ‘Silent Night’ by the Stilettos, ‘Sans Day Carol’ by the Training Choir and a wonderful performance of Benjamin Britten’s ‘ There is no Rose’ by the Senior Girls’ Choir. Cash collections at the end of the concert raised an impressive £5,000 for The Mulberry Centre, a cancer support group at West Middlesex Hospital.
