This year’s Prefect Dinner, organised by Rosie Goodchild (U6) and Emma Cleevely (U6), was held at Cutlers’ Hall, home to one of the Livery Companies of the City of London formed in the 13th century. Both our Upper Sixth prefects and their aspiring successors from the Lower Sixth, together with Harrodian staff, all had the pleasure of attending the event.
Everyone looked elegant in their black tie dress, as they gathered in the beautiful and historic building. The evening started with a Drinks Reception followed by what could be Michelin-starred food; smoked salmon and dill to start, a tender fillet of beef for main course finished with a dessert of crème brûlée. During the evening there were some musical performances from Alice Barclay (L6) and Petra de Jager (L6), who sang and were accompanied by Matthew Man (U6) and Sam Tannenbaum (L6) on the piano. The Head Girl, Connie O’Neill (U6) and Head Boy, Charlie Clark (U6), and our Head of Seniors, Captain Rob Stewart, all gave toasts and speeches to mark the occasion.
