A group of 15s pupils headed off to Morocco for a week’s visit during October half term. GCSE Geography topics on tourism and changing urban environments were brought to life on this educational and cultural tour.
Pupils experienced traditional cuisine, shopping in the souks in Marrakech. Exploring the UNESCO world heritage site of Aït Benhaddou and touring a film studio where they were filming King Tut. Trekking by camel into the Sahara Desert and sleeping beneath the starry sky were some of the many highlights that created a truly memorable trip.
